SUB|ROK PRESENTS: NYE 2022 OPEN MIC SHOWCASE

SUB|ROK RECORDS would like to cordially invite you to our first community open mic event on New Year's Eve at the Holiday Inn ballroom in Rock Springs. Wyoming. Feature acts include Sickamore Treezy, SUBROK CARTEL, Gentry Fox, & T00M3R.

There are 14 open mic slots, each consisting of one song up to five minutes in length. Slots are first come first serve, and sign-up begins one hour before showtime. Best act of the night will return to perform a 20-minute headlining set on next month's event. There will also be a group freestyle cypher from 12-1am.

This opportunity is specifically tailored towards rap artists & emcees, but all music genres all welcome to participate. Sign-up starts at 8pm, show begins at 9. All ages are welcome, there is also a full bar available for those 21+ with ID.

RULES, INFO, & GUIDELINES

- NO RAPPING OVER YOUR OWN VOCALS! We do not support sucker emcees. Your sound will be cut and you will be booed offstage. Choruses and adlibs are excusable at a low volume.

- There are only 14 open mic slots available and they are first come, first serve. Sign-up begins at 8pm sharp.

- Artists are limited to one song a piece, so come with your best track ready. Please make sure that it's under 5 minutes in length.

- There will be four open mic rounds with four artists per round. Each round will then be separated by a 20-minute headliner.

- Bring your instrumental on either a cell phone or a USB flash drive. Check-in with either the DJ or the sound tech after sign-up to load up your set.

- Artists will be assigned their rounds/slots by random. Performers must be present when called to the stage, otherwise, they will be skipped.
